BA (Hons.) Jewellery Design
India as a country, is a major participant in the world when it comes to jewellery designing. There is a demand, domestic and international, for jewellery designs, materials, gems and finishes from various regions of the country.

This course aims to develop the individual aesthetics of each and every student in jewellery design, from investigational to stylish and fine jewellery solutions, integrating contemporary culture and lifestyles. The course emphasizes innovative explorations, conceptual, visualization and realization skills.

The course is structured to equip students with comprehensive skills and knowledge in jewellery design, and they not only acquire information on latest design trends but also experience fundamental knowledge of marketing, management and the jewellery business.

The course is conducted in close association with the industry which sponsors live projects for students to experiment on within the laboratory and workshop practice. Besides, at an early stage students get introduced with industrial experience through vacation time engagements. Experts from industry join hands with regular faculty to guide and educate them.

The course is structured in such a manner that graduates are employed as designers in a range of business and manufacturing sectors including jewellery and lifestyle products or they develop their own studios working on freelance basis. With a small history of two graduate batches we secured 100 per cent placement and feel honoured to have placed our students with the best of the jewellery industry - Tanishq, Gitanjali, Lifestyle, Tristar Intl., Derewala, etc., to name a few.
